You are already on the best path to fulfill these wishes! It was my motivation when I started my own online business in 2018. Here I will show you how you can achieve this self-determined business and the lifestyle of a digital nomad family. After all, there’s nothing better than exploring the most beautiful places in the world together with your children while being able to work from anywhere.
As a mom of four children and a creative business visionary, I’ll guide you from the sunny Caribbean on your journey to a successful online business! My support is based on 11 years of self-employment, 7 years of online business growth, and 100% personal experience. So, let yourself be inspired by my personal story!
My Story
IT ALL STARTED WHEN I BECAME A MOTHER
Suddenly, my previous self-employment became incompatible with my vision of a fulfilled family life. At that time, I was running my own café in the gastronomy sector in Berlin, Germany. When the oven was broken, I had to be there, whether it was very early in the morning on my day off or on weekends, no matter what day or time. But i wanted to be present for my twins and witness their start in life up close. I was dissatisfied with my job, the rigid structures, the limited free time, and the meager salary.
On top of that, my personal interests and themes changed significantly after becoming a mom, and I have always been someone who passionately follows their curiosity and realizes their own ideas. So, in 2016, during my parental leave in Belize (my husband’s homeland), I completed an online training program to become a vegan nutrition consultant.

WE START A NEW LIFE AS A DIGITAL NOMAD FAMILY
Back in Germany, it quickly became clear that my partner actually wanted to go back to his homeland, and he was becoming increasingly unhappy in Europe. So, shortly after the birth of our third child, we packed our bags and flew to Belize with three pieces of luggage and only our one-way tickets in hand. The plan was to emigrate as a family.
With no financial reserves, we started completely from scratch in early 2018! The question of a source of income and our professional development arose quickly, and I decided to start my first online business as a vegan nutrition consultant.
MY JOURNEY TO MY OWN ONLINE BUSINESS
Honestly, for a year, I consumed almost all free offerings that were out there. After the first year, I had organized an event with over 2,000 participants, my Facebook group had nearly 300 members, and I had filled an email list with over 1,000 contacts. But my biggest success was, of course, landing my first clients! I had developed a three-month all-inclusive consulting package and started with a price of around €300. With each client and every gained experience, I increased that price, knowing too well that my offering was worth so much more!
My personal turning point came when I booked my first client for €2,000. That’s when I knew: I can do this! It works! But how could I turn that one time success into a solid business that generates consistent revenue? I had no idea! So, I set out to find my first business mentor. I went through various business coaching programs and learned everything about building an online business, strategies, branding, marketing, sales psychology, pricing, successful product creation, and entrepreneurial thinking.
THE BUSINESS MAMA ACADEMY IS BORN
Within a few years, my online business grew to become one of the market leaders, and at the same time, I felt a growing call to help other mothers pave their way to a successful online business. Because there are just so many fantastic advantages to being your own boss:
- Work flexibly and take time off whenever you want, not just when holidays occur or your employer approves vacation.
- Combine travel and work, with your business right there in your laptop.
- Pursue your own interests and positively impact the lives of your clients.
So, in early 2021, I decided to share my experience as an online business mentor for mothers and founded the Business Mama Academy. All my experience, personal learnings, and know-how from seven successful years in online business flowed into it, resulting in my own holistic approach combining strategic expertise, mindset work, and personal growth.
MY HOLISTIC APPROACH
If I’ve learned one thing on my journey, it’s that there is no “recipe for success” or “secret formula” that promises overnight success. Rather, we need to look individually at how each person wants to design their business and what exactly is needed for that!
Holistic means to me that we not only work on your business with the necessary strategy but also make space for your personal development as an entrepreneur and self-employed mother. Growth means questioning your thought patterns and beliefs—your mindset—and reprogramming it so you can overcome blocks and step into your true greatness.
Inner work also means working with our energetic presence and actively shaping the 90% of our communication that happens non-verbally, using it for our business success.
This holistic approach runs through my entire offering: from the Inner Circle Membership to various online courses to the Business Mama Academy and my one-on-one mentoring.
